The Power Of Positive Eating And Positive Living
Posted by myideas1 on July 31st, 2008
Though there are many anti-aging products in the market today, it is easy to ease the effects of aging by following a healthy diet of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Smoking should be refrained from and alcohol consumption should be maintained to moderation. Staying away from desserts and packaged foods help in slowing the aging process.
Some of the most worthwhile anti-aging products available in the market today are well-manufactured antioxidants and dietary supplements. These products provide the body with its required nutrients every day. They help in detoxifying the body, improves the immunity system of the body, strengthens the muscles and tissues of the body, helps to control stress, improves memory, improves the skin and circulatory systems and supports cardiovascular, neurological and eye functions. Anti-aging relates to both outside physical appearance and internal appearance.
Aging is a natural process of the body where nothing can be done much about stopping it. However today, there are many anti-aging products and nutrients, which a person can use so that it is possible to slow down the aging process. Regular ingestion of these products leads to a considerable slowing down of the internal aging process and taking good care of your skin, hair and body with products and routines that have been shown to reverse the signs of aging can also contribute to your outward “anti-aging”.
The goal to aging should be a positive outlook, a clear understanding of all of the biological processes and to remain active. You should only look as old as you feel.

Totally agree, there are many ways to slow down the aging process. Besides good diet, exercise, and taking supplements and anti-aging products, we should not forget about sleep! Good quality sleep helps us maintain our youth much longer.

It’s always nice to see a doctor who practices what she preaches. Dr. Dodds looks fantastic. I just want to congratulate her on all of her success!

I miss Atlanta. Enjoyed doing business there years ago. Maybe I can look and feel better if I go back?
Hmm…

Wow, great post. But you got added to my bookmarks just because you look as if you’re following your own advice.

Words of wisdom indeed.
I’ve always eaten a pretty decent diet of food. But every now and then I get busy, fall off the “good food” wagon and eat whatever is close. I always begin to feel “different” and sluggish.
A good diet makes so much difference in your life.

Heidi - I’m with you, it REALLY does make a difference!
Foongpc - Many people believe they can skimp on their sleep situation, but it eventually catches up with them; you’re RIGHT on target.
Misty - I’m sure Dr. Dodds will appreciate your kind words.
Dwacon - As you know, Atlanta has MUCH to offer, you should consider it.
Shelia - That has happened to many of us, I’m sure! No matter how dedicated we try to be, there comes a time when we “fall off” our ‘healthy eating’ wagon. Growing up, I often heard, “You are what you eat.” As the years continue to creep toward me, I understand it better and better!

I agree, a good diet and enough sleep will make you look younger, but I have not been getting that lately, sigh.
